Janice did a great job understanding the complexities of our case. She was able to research those areas thoroughly to provide us with the best possibility of success. She was straight up front with our chances of prevailing on appeal and did a great job preparing our appeals brief to the Supreme Court. My name is Albert B. Janice Mazur represented my wife and I in an appeal after an insurance company received a $94,000 judgement from a wrongful death suite involving our daughter Stacey’s death in case we lost on the first go around.

You see our daughter was killed by an illegally parked semi truck that broke several other laws that include both frederal and state regulation.

Mrs. Mazur is the best attorney I have ever had. I was assigned Mrs. Mazur when I filed an appeal for my parole board denial and she won. As a civil litigator, I have had to hire Appelate lawyers several times in the past 24 years. I have never had a more pleasant experience with an appellate lawyer as I have with Janice, who incidentally I have never personally seen! I found Ms Mazur on Avvo after a 2 year legal nightmare which ended with a misdemeanor conviction. My trust in lawyers and in the justice system was at an all time low when I posted a question on Avvo. Janice contacted me promptly as I had another court date in 2 days. Janice Mazur successfully appealed a judgment against us in regards to a trust matter at a very reasonable price. She was a great help throughout the whole process. We subsequently hired her for another matter which also ended very satisfactory for us. If we ever ran into another problem I would not hesitate to hire her again.

While we were unable to prevail, we found Janice to be a very good appeals attorney. Her fees are reasonable, and in our last case she sent us a refund of the unused portion of fees without a request.
We are currently using her again in another appeals matter that is pending at this time.
